OUR MISSION

Los Angeles Safety Gear was born out of the dual need to answer our country's call to action in the face of mask shortages, as well as our commitment to all our team-members that we would remain employed throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

With no prior experience in cutting or sewing, other than the occasional button, we set out to learn a new trade that would help our team make it through tough times, while at the same time giving back to our family, friends and neighbors. Once it became apparent that we would need to make a lot more masks than we could make on our dining table at home, we decided to give it a real try at our workshop, right in the heart of LA.

Today, these masks are keeping communities safe across the country, and our team and their families fed.
